He was behind many successful campaigns, masterminded strategies, coordinated resources, and orchestrated the performance of all parties involves, making sure that all the efforts were eventuated into successes. Kenneth is respected and well recognised among Asian communities. He puts his finger on the pulse of the Asian market by devoting himself into many community development activities and projects, i.e., cultural events, community safety, health & education programmes. Lucy Ong

Account Director

Before Lucy joined Bananaworks, she had managed a cross-cultural communication company for ten years, and prior to that she was the Co-Founder of Bananaworks. She has successfully coordinated projects such as the Electoral Enrolment Campaign, Auckland Greyhound Racing, Telecom’s Chinese New Year, and Air New Zealand Shanghai Campaign. Lucy’s expertise is in branding to the Asian market. From developing creative strategies to delivering visual communications in traditional print platforms and web digital interactive media. Lucy graduated from Wellington Polytechnic and holds a Bachelor of Design, visual communications degree. She has more than fifteen years of advertising agency work experience in both New Zealand and Taiwan.

Michelle Huang

Account Manager

Michelle is a broadly skilled marketing and communications professional with solid records in China and New Zealand. Her extensive fifteen years of experience covers sectors of B2B, FMCG, dairy, F&B, etc. Her journey started from BlueFocus, an APAC top agency based in Beijing before joining Tetra Pak as the PR manager. She led a series of integrated campaigns to boost sales volume. Her latest role in multinational giants was the Digital Communications Manager of Fonterra China, where she took the key role in the company’s digital transformation. Then her focus turned to help SMEs survive and thrive in furious competitions. Michelle holds a Master of Arts in Advertising and Applied Communications from Xiamen University.

Kaka Xu

Digital Marketing Specialist

Formerly a professional editor who worked for China’s largest multimedia news corporation People’s Daily (comparable to the BBC for UK or CNN for the US), as well as having worked as the senior editor for New Zealand’s own Chinese language channel TV33 Media. Having high profile experience as a team lead acting for large firms such as Tencent, Alibaba, and Youku in extremely competitive environments, managing all aspects of social content planning and campaign activity for high-value projects. Possessing valuable social connections across the media industry over many years of experience. Operating in the role of Senior Account Executive, overseeing digital marketing and corporate branding for a number of publicly listed firms in New Zealand. Fluent in English, Japanese, and Chinese.
