Translation isn’t always straighforward. The beauty of a language is in its taste, subtlety and emotion. Often these sensitive factors can be appreciated only by native speakers – subtelties are easily lost in unsympathetic translation.
In many cases, direct-translation does not deliver the right message. If you have a message to be delivered across a language gap, direct translation will almost surely lose that subtlety and dilute the effectiveness of the original. In fact, it is risky to attempt converting your original with a word-by-word translation, as it can lead to embarrassing results.
Essentially, converting a message from one language to another is a delicate process of language art re-creation. A professional translation will preserve the language taste and the subtlety of the original, accurately delivering the same message in another language with a natural flow. Certainly don’t ever think of using Google to translate!
